If You See Something, Say Something!
It’s 12:20am in grand central. We want to take the shuttle. (ok I’ve known for many years the s doesn’t run after midnight, but in this instance i wasn’t operating at 100% and figured someone in my 5 person group would have spoken up). No one spoke up. So we walked right up to the doors leading to the S and found they were locked.
Again the MTA doesn’t bother to let you know about this in advance, like maybe in a big sign above the doors where it says “shuttle”. Or maybe via a sign on the doors. No. We need to walk all the way up to the unmarked doors, try to open them, and then infer the reason they are locked (it’s not obvious that the S wouldn’t be running- it could be that this particular entrance is closed).
So thank you MTA once again for making my night just a little bit more inconvenient and annoying. Thanks.
