If You See Something, Say Something!

Riding the B train home from work I noticed that the MTA had done it again - dazzled the riders with its deplorable filth. At 5pm on a Wednesday, I would assume or at least hope that the subway cars would be moderately clean. Instead, I sat down to see brown paper bags, AM New Yorks, half-chewed chicken bones, and newspapers strewn about the entire length of the car. Under my seat were the remains of a once appetizing fried chicken wing.  Although, I suppose the trash featured in the picture was not as bad as the time I found a large solid piece of human feces tucked away under the seat.  Thanks MTA, next time I take my garabage out - I know where to bring it.
Jeff:
Well, you can’t exactly blame the MTA for this one, right?  Let’s blame the riders for it.  But clearly it doesn’t help things to not have a trash bin in the train or at least regular checks every 15 station stops or something.
Maddy:
That’s true, but it would be nice if there was at least a somewhat regular cleaning crew that would sweep the cars…i mean, most of the time the mta employees aren’t doing anything useful anyway.
Thanks Maddy!
