Oh, we got a twofer!!
On the left, a downtown subway line sign with blue duct tape trim. Well done! And even though there is another sign that says the same thing just perpendicular to this one that you’d see if you’re going down the stairs, this is actually useful placement for people come from the other angle who wouldn’t have a head on view of the other sign.
But I do love the NYC subway map - just a cruddy, paper one, duct taped to the wall. That’s a classy job. Better than nothing, you might sneer. Yes, better than nothing. What would be just a teeny bit better would be a large, clear display that shows times and next stops/destinations for all the trains at Columbus Circle.
But duct taping shit to the wall is a start.
