If You See Something, Say Something!
I love this sign:
Don’t give influenza a “hand”
Always sneeze & cough into your arm
And then an action shot of a woman actually sneezing into her arm!  I give this sign an A- for its effective use of a photo, simple verbiage, and lack of clip art.  Nice work guys!
Now, if that is good advice or snotty advice, I’m not sure.  Yes, snot on your hand is nasty and can spread disease.  But is snot on your shoulder or sleeve really any less nasty?  I just imagine someone following this instruction, pulling away from their sleeve with nastiness all over.
Of course another possibility is that it starts a fad where people start using their arm as a kleenex, blowing noses left and right.  Then we’ll see a sign that advises us not to rub shoulders with other people.
